STAC hosted its second-ever golf tournament at The Marshes Golf Course in Kanata, Ontario. Last week’s event was held on a scorching hot and sunny day that brought industry professionals and golf enthusiasts together for a day of fun and friendly competition. The event provided an opportunity to network and play golf on a PGA level course that has also been recognized as an Audubon Cooperative Wildlife Sanctuary golf course.
Over 110 attendees participated in the tournament, making it a lively and engaging event. As the golfers made their way around the course, they had the opportunity to compete in various contests and showcase their skills.
Fred Mullie (Core One Consulting) had an amazing hole-in-one on the 165 yard, hole 12. Andrew Dube (B.D.C.L.) and Ghyslain Vaillant (Qualnet) were crowned the winners of the “Closest to Pin” contest while Mike Tasker (COMsolve) and Joann Giroux (Excel Tower Services) both emerged victorious in the “Longest Drive” contests.
STAC and the Canadian Telecommunications Association would like to thank the Full Tournament Sponsors Core One Consulting, Korol Contracting, and Trylon, whose generous contributions helped make the tournament such a big success. Gap Wireless sponsored the boxed lunch that fueled the participants throughout the day. Grundy Telecom Integration Inc. and QualNet Wireless Services Inc. kept golfers refreshed and hydrated by sponsoring the drink carts, ensuring that everyone had access to cool beverages throughout the day.
The tournament also featured various Hole Sponsors, including Canadian Network Installations Ltd., COMsolve, Erivan, Gowling WLG, Morcom Inc., Rigarus Construction Inc., RVA Lighting & Masts, and TELONIX Communications.
