STAC Volunteer of the Year Award

Jason Wolf
Jason Wolf is the Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) Manager for Korol Contracting, where he is responsible for overseeing their health and safety program. He has worked in the tower industry for 18 years, starting out with 13 years in the field before moving into HSE.
Beyond his hard work in the industry, Jason has worked hard to help the tower industry over the past 18 months by volunteering his time to Mohawk College to help with the development of a comprehensive telecommunications tower technician training program. While leading the charge on the program’s development, Jason often worked on evenings and weekends, as evidenced by emails to STAC staff. Jason also worked with the STAC Industry Workforce Committee to help ensure the developing program reflected the ideals of other industry veterans as captured in the recent STAC document released last September, Training the Next Generation of Tower Technicians.
Thanks to the hard work of Jason and the team he assembled, the Aerial Telecommunication Specialist course at Mohawk College will launch this fall.
Jason grew up on a farm in Palmerston, ON and still lives in that same farm today. He is actively involved in his community, coaching hockey and baseball teams and volunteering for various initiatives year-round.
Jason’s contributions to his profession and community make him an invaluable member of both, and a deserving recipient of this year’s STAC Volunteer of the Year Award. Please join us in congratulating him.
The STAC Volunteer of the Year Award is provided annually to an individual who has made an exceptional contribution to STAC projects or activities through volunteer service during the course of the membership year.
