2025 Women of STAC Education Bursary Fund recipients

STAC is proud to announce the 2025 Women of STAC Education Bursary Fund recipients: Mikaela Yohannes of Trylon and Veronica Howat of Wesbell.

Mikaela and Veronica have demonstrated outstanding dedication to their professional growth in the telecommunications industry. Their commitment to advancing their careers and contributing to the sector’s continued success is truly inspiring. We are thrilled to support them as they take the next steps in their professional journeys!

The Women of STAC Bursary Fund is awarded annually to select recipients in the telecommunications sector to provide financial support that can help enable women in their pursuit of training, education, or other professional development opportunities. In addition to monetary support, bursary recipients receive an invitation to participate in the annual STAC conference, where they can engage in valuable learning and networking opportunities.

First awarded in 2020, the bursary is made possible each year through contributions by the Canadian Telecommunications Association. This year, the fund has been solely supported by the Canadian Telecommunications Association, continuing its mission to foster growth and professional development for women in telecom.
