Upcoming STAC Events

In light of the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, STAC has been looking at new ways to host our annual events in order to keep our members and other attendees as safe as possible. With this in mind, we are sharing here updates on two of our planned events over the next year: the STAC Annual Meeting and the STAC 2021 Conference.

STAC Annual Meeting

The second STAC Annual Meeting will be held remotely on October 21, 2020 at 1:30 p.m. ET. While STAC and the STAC Steering Committee are saddened that we cannot hold this event in-person again this year, we are hopeful the remote event will attract more STAC members from across the country.

During this open meeting, STAC will recap the council’s accomplishments over the past year and discuss ongoing projects and activities. The meeting will also feature a presentation by CWTA President and CEO, Robert Ghiz, about the state of Canada’s wireless industry.

All STAC members will receive a calendar invitation to this meeting next week, which will include WebEx and conference call connection details. Please note that due to an expected high volume of participants, attendees will be muted once the meeting begins, and we will ask that all questions be submitted to [email protected] or [email protected].

Please contact us at [email protected] if you have any questions about this event or to submit a question that you would like answered during the presentation.

STAC 2021 Conference

STAC is excited to announce that we have started planning the STAC 2021 Conference, though it is not yet certain whether the event will be held in-person or online.

To help determine which of these options would best serve our membership, we are asking all STAC members to complete a five-minute survey about your conference preferences. You can access this survey here: https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/RCWJ9S3

Additional information about the planned timing and potential location of STAC 2021 will also be available in the weeks ahead and will be communicated with STAC members directly.

Please feel free to reach out to us if you do have any questions – or session topic suggestions – in the meantime at [email protected].
