Save the Date – STAC Annual Meeting & Pub Night Reception

STAC will hold its annual fall face-to-face meeting on Oct. 29 in Brampton, and all STAC members are invited to attend and then join us at the industry pub night reception that follows.

It promises to be a fun and insightful day of discussion about the tower industry that conveniently includes a late-afternoon happy hour and networking event.

Here are the details for this year’s event:

STAC Annual Meeting
Oct. 29 – 2:00 p.m.- 4:00 p.m. EDT
Rogers Park – 8200 Dixie Rd, Brampton, ON

STAC will hold its first official “Annual Meeting” following the implementation of the STAC Governance Policy this month, replacing the previously named “Open Steering Committee Meeting” we have held each of the past two years.

Though much of this meeting will look and feel like the Open Steering Committee Meetings of years past, there will be one significant change: STAC will be announcing the addition of two new companies to the STAC Steering Committee.

STAC will also use this meeting to review other changes to operations under the new Governance Policy, recap the council’s accomplishments over the past year and discuss ongoing projects and activities. And we will be providing more details about the upcoming STAC 2020 Conference & Exhibition, taking place on March 31-April 1 in Vancouver.

If you are interested in attending this meeting, please send an email to info@stacouncil.ca. Approximately 100 spaces are available and will be awarded on a first-come, first-serve basis. STAC will also provide a dial-in connection for those who are not able to be there in person.

Pub Night Reception
Oct. 29 – 4:00 p.m-6:00 p.m. EDT
Location TBD

STAC’s annual pub night reception will begin immediately after the close of the STAC Annual Meeting at a nearby restaurant and will give all attendees a chance to network with industry colleagues while enjoying some complimentary food and drink.

In an effort to encourage full industry participation, STAC is seeking a limited number of sponsoring companies to pledge $500 each to help pay for refreshments. Sponsors will be recognized in pre-event invitations, at the event itself, and through a variety of other STAC communications materials (including monthly newsletters and at STAC committee meetings, as appropriate).

If you are interested in attending or sponsoring this reception, or for more information, simply send us an email at info@stacouncil.ca.

A final location for the pub night reception and other details about these events will be made available to STAC members in the weeks ahead. In the meantime, please do not hesitate to reach out if you have any questions or if you’d like to express interest in attending either event.
