Life can be full of surprises and the tower industry is no exception.
A STAC Member recently wrote to STAC to request help in identifying what can best be described as a mystery fall protection system found on a Canadian tower site.
As seen in the images below, the monopole tower has a cable affixed at the top and running to the ground, presumably for fall protection purposes. It does not appear to have any identifying information as to who manufactured the system, when it was last inspected, or how it is supposed to be used.
Any STAC Member who believes they can help identify this system is asked to contact firstname.lastname@example.org
All the best sincerely,
Nick Kyonka (STAC Program Director)
